Low calorie diets: These diets will not provide you with the proper balance of nutrients in order to be healthy. It is also unlikely to sustain diets in which you are consuming fewer than 1200 calories a day. The body is in a state of constant starvation, which can negatively affect your metabolism.
Fad diets: The newest diet of the stars, and so-called “quick fixes,” don’t have long lasting results. Very few people can sustain a diet consisting only of cabbage soup or “power” cookies.
