Introducing the ELISA IgG Food Allergy Test
At Complete Clinics we have the ability to test for food sensitivities with the ELISA IgG test. Reactions to foods are not always immediate. They can occur many hours later as bloating and swelling of the hands, feet, ankles, abdomen, chin and around the eyes. Much of the weight gain is fluid retention caused by inflammation and the release of certain hormones. In addition, fermentation of foods, particularly carbohydrates, in the intestines, can result in a swollen distended belly and gas production.
Many times the foods we eat frequently and that seem healthy our contributing to our health problems. Food allergies as well as food sensitivities can cause weight gain. Yes, it's possible to have no other symptoms! You cannot count on seeing runny noses or sneezes with some food sensitivities. Instead, a person's body perceives the offending food as a threat and limits digestion of nutrients, thus causing the body to store fat.
Complete Clinics is excited to be able to offer this comprehensive testing for food allergies and sensitivities. Our food allergy testing is more extensive than many of the other standard tests that are administered at medical clinics. We thoroughly screen for 96 different food item intolerances while others typically screen for 13 to 18 items.
Reactions to foods are not always immediate or obvious, and sometimes can cause weight gain and bloating. You can have no other symptoms, and actually be gaining weight by eating foods that you think are healthy! Here at Complete Clinics, we will customize your dietary regimen to your test results. Our team of nutritionists will follow up with you to keep you on the right track to losing weight and keeping it off.
Check with your insurance carrier as well. The Food Allergy test MAY BE PARTIALLY OR FULLY COVERED by insurance!
